Spain, Valencia. Ciudad de las Artes y las Sciencias.

This time with B/W processing to emphasize on the structures itself, to create a more "majestic" impact.
I wanted to create a toning true to the original image and surfaces.

The trompe d’œil effect of the ridges beneath the window really challenges the brain. You r photo was well framed to capture this.

The toning is immense. Do you use luminosity masks?

Thanks. I'm simply using NIK's Silver Efex for processing and Photoshop's dodge and burn tools for the details. Do you have a short introduction to luminosity masks or links to a description? I honestly never worked with them before and am curious ;)

Well you achieve fantastic results!

I think you'll like them, it gives amazing control over the tones. From the [link] you just need "Actions for luminosity masks" and what you get is actions for 4 different grades of darks, lights and midtones each. Play one of them and you'll get a curve with the selection of that tone as a mask. Takes a bit of getting used to but you'll be fine. Have a look at this if you're stuck [link]
